Ada County Seeks Waterways Advisory Committee Volunteer
 
 
(Boise, ID) – The Board of Ada County Commissioners is currently seeking an individual interested in volunteering their time to serve on Ada County’s Waterways Advisory Committee. This is a volunteer position which carries a term of three (3) years. Volunteers appointed to this committee must live in Ada County during their entire term. This position will remain open until filled. 
 
The seven (7) member Waterways Advisory Committee typically meets at 3:00 p.m. on the fourth Monday of February, March, July and October, and serves in an advisory capacity to the Board of Commissioners. The Committee helps provide direction on issues relating to waterway maintenance and improvement.
 
Interested persons need to complete a volunteer board application, available at the Ada County Commissioners' Office. The Commissioners’ Office is located on the third floor of the Ada County Courthouse at 200 W. Front Street, Boise, 83702. The volunteer board application has also been posted to the Ada County Commissioner’s website at www.adaweb.net; from the Commissioners’ website, click on the ‘Volunteer Boards & Committee’ link. The application may also be accessed by clicking on the link below.
